  1. Oh my, what a wonderful coincidence: I’m off to Venice tomorrow for four days! Now I’m enlightened to how beautiful the city can look through the lens. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful art. Regards, Paul

  2. These photos are absolutely breathtaking! You are a very talented photographer. Venice is on my list of places I want to go. After seeing your pictures, I’m afraid I’d get there and not want to come home :-) Thank you so much for sharing these for our enjoyment.

  3. These photos are absolutely amazing!
The buildings and the architecture are completely alluring and so immaculate.
I envy you so much, how lucky. I hope you are having a great time and get to enjoy the great food there!

  5. Every time I see a picture, or TV show on Venice it makes me want to go and visit. It looks like an absolutely beautiful place. Your pictures are amazing, I think my favorite is the last one. I just love everything about it. Thank you for sharing.

  6. venice (thinking of kashgar) one yard of scents, with blossoms filled/ one passage through the midday sun/ one house, one water, one whole town/ one thousand years become one day/ they know it here, you’ll die quite soon/ and everyone will come and say/ what you may claim, and what remains/ and then they’re ready to depart/ cause what we are stays in this world/ what we have done, what we have heard/ one scent, one stone, one sound, one plan/ a plea that says please understand

  7. Those pictures are really awesome!
Unfortunatly I was only one time in venice, but it was as beautiful as your pics show it.

  9. Although I think publishing images of Venice could constitute mental cruelty I have taken the risk and looked at yours. Sigh….
I’ve been lucky enough to visit twice – once in summer and once in the winter (which was so beautiful) but it’s never enough. Have just started reading Peter Ackroyd’s book Venice : Pure City (see – someone else’s – review at http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/reviews/venice-pure-city-by-peter-ackroyd-1777593.html) – the next best indulgence for mind travellers is reading and seeing lovely images like these.

  10. Pictures of venice are always very nice. They cut out how soiled the water in the canals is, how crowded this city is by tourists and how deserted this part of venice is because less and less people live there any more.
